About Madeleine
As I mentioned, I currently work in a McGill aquatic biology lab as a research assistant. During my time in this research lab, I’ve taught multiple new undergraduate students about biology, taxonomy, and general lab skills. Additionally, I supervised a science camp for a year. Therefore, my teaching skills, combined with my life experience in the research and academic world, can aid students to reach their fullest academic potential.

Hi! My name is Madeleine Aucoin. I just graduated from McGill with a Bachelor of Science in Environment (Marine Biology Concentration) and a minor in Organismal Biology. I’ve taken classes in organismal and cellular biology as well as several chemistry and statistics classes. I’ve received two undergraduate research grants (in 2023 and 2024) and have worked in a McGill Biology lab conducting research for the past two years. I currently work in a McGill aquatic biology lab as a research assistant and will be beginning Biology Masters program in the coming year. On top of my academic endeavours, I’m involved in several extracurriculars at McGill and love to help younger people reach their fullest potential in an academic environment!
