About Akshara
My passion for mathematics began with curiosity about patterns, logical reasoning, and problem-solving strategies. I earned a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, specializing in algebra, geometry, and applied problem-solving methods. Over 8 years, I have guided learners from elementary school math to middle school math, advanced algebra, geometry, and SAT math, fostering confidence, analytical reasoning, and conceptual clarity. I create a supportive, engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, independent thinking, and practical application. I adapt lessons to student levels. Beginners strengthen foundational arithmetic, number sense, and basic operations. Intermediate learners develop multi-step reasoning, applied algebra, and geometric problem-solving skills. Advanced learners tackle SAT-style questions, coordinate geometry, and advanced algebra, cultivating independence, analytical thinking, and problem-solving confidence. My teaching emphasizes curiosity, persistence, and structured thinking in every lesson. Outside the classroom, I explore mathematical applications, problem-solving strategies, and innovative teaching approaches to enrich lessons.
