About Anas
I'm currently a university student at IBA Karachi, studying BS Accounting and Finance. Before that, I did my A-Levels with strong grades in Biology, Physics and Chemistry, and my O-Levels with top grades across the board, including an A* in two subjects.
Maths has always been close to my heart. When I was the same age as the students I now teach, it was genuinely my favourite subject, the one I actually looked forward to at school. That excitement hasn't gone away, and I want to pass it on to younger students instead of letting maths feel like a chore.
I'm patient by nature, which matters a lot when you're working with kids who are still building confidence in a subject. I don't rush students or make them feel behind. My approach is calm, encouraging and focused on actually understanding the "why" behind a concept rather than just memorising steps to pass a test.
Parents can trust that I take this seriously: lessons are well prepared, I track each student's progress, and I'm always reachable if a question comes up between sessions.

Each lesson follows a clear structure. I explain the concept clearly, then we work through practice problems together so the student actually applies what they've learned instead of just listening. If they make a mistake, I correct it on the spot so it doesn't turn into a bigger misunderstanding later.
At the end of every lesson, students get time to bring up anything they're confused about, whether it's from that day's session or something else from school entirely, and I help them work through it.
Before tests or exams, I also offer extra sessions where I'm just available, not teaching anything new. The student can come whenever they want to clear a doubt, ask a question, or get some extra practice in before the test. It's flexible support exactly when they need it.
My goal is simple: build strong maths foundations for grades 3 to 8, in a way that fits whatever curriculum or method your child's school already uses, so lessons support what they're learning in class instead of confusing them further.
