Multisensory learning is an important teaching approach for online classes. It helps students to learn and retain information more effectively by engaging multiple senses.
There are many ways to incorporate multi-sensory learning into online classes. I use visual aids, such as images, and diagrams, to help students understand new concepts using a document camera. I also use auditory aids, such as audio recordings and songs, to help students learn new information. Additionally, I have students move around and manipulate objects to help them learn and retain information. I always keep it low tech and replicate the in person classes
