I am a highly experienced Mathematics and Science tutor with a PhD in Chemistry and over 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching several hundred students of varying ages, abilities, and backgrounds, both in person and online. My students have come from across the UK and internationally, including Singapore, Japan, USA, Hong Kong, China, the UAE, France and Russia. This extensive experience has enabled me to adapt my teaching methods to suit each student's individual learning style, academic goals, and potential.
I specialise in a wide range of STEM subjects, including Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I teach students from 11+ level through to A-level and university-level Chemistry, with extensive experience across major examination boards and curricula, including AQA, OCR, Edexcel, WJEC, IGCSE, the International Baccalaureate (IB), and American curricula, including Advanced Placement (AP) examinations.
In addition to subject tuition, I have considerable expertise in examination preparation and academic mentoring. I successfully prepare students for 11+ entrance examinations, SATs, UK Independent School entrance assessments at 13+ and 14+, and Independent School admissions in the United States. My approach combines strong subject knowledge with proven exam techniques and personalised strategies designed to maximise each student's performance. Many of my students have achieved exceptional results and secured places at leading schools and universities.

Excellent! Prashant recently delivered his first GCSE Science lesson to my daughter. He was friendly, patient, and explained concepts in a calm and clear manner. During the 30-minute session, he took the time to assess her current knowledge and understanding, which helped identify the areas where she may need additional support. We were very pleased with the lesson and would definitely recommend him.
Perfect! Excellent Tutor
Helped me to improve my grade in chemistry from a C to an A, which allowed me to get into Vet School. He is very patient and excellent at explaining difficult concepts. Can't recommend enough.

Prash has been a great tutor to our son. He is very approachable and patient. Our son was able to choose the area each week he wanted to focus on, be it maths, chemistry, or physics, to help him with the high-end elements of his GCSE course. We would wholeheartedly recommend him.
Prash has been an amazing mathematics tutor in the last year of school. We covered various modules ranging from pure algebra and geometry to statistics and mechanics. Prash has assisted me in solving simpler tasks, and gradually worked with me towards more complex issues, breaking down each step until I fully mastered each one, which eventually resulted in me getting an A* in A-level Edexcel Mathematics. He is very easy to communicate with and simply a great person to share your academic struggles with!
Amazing tutor! He’s very kind and understanding. Improved my Science and Maths GCSE grades massively. Would definitely recommend to other students.
Prashant was a wonderful A-level Chemistry tutor for my daughter. She thoroughly enjoyed her online sessions and was consistently guided by him. He is very clear and concise, communicating well to ensure a topic was fully understood. They practiced many questions to further solidify her understanding.
Prashant is an amazing chemistry teacher! My son (Sean) loves his classes, his confidence and grades improved so much, he got A for his Alevel .
Prashant has taught me maths and English twice a week.
Dr. Rajbhandari has been providing home tuitions for my daughter (year 15) since July 2014. As a Tutor, he is brilliant, sincere and amicable by nature. He is regular and punctual in his duites. He knows very well how to keep students busy in productive works. He provides a lot of practice works in the tuition sessions and writes positive comments for improvement.
