About Camryn
I have always been passionate about mathematics, which led me to pursue a B.Sc in Mathematics Education and dedicate seven years to teaching learners of all levels. I enjoy creating a patient, supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring concepts, asking questions, and building confidence. Helping students develop clarity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills is deeply rewarding. Throughout my career, I have guided students in elementary school math, middle school math, algebra, geometry, and SAT math preparation. I focus on individualized instruction that matches each learner’s pace and style. Using visual aids, relatable examples, and structured exercises, I help students overcome challenges and gradually gain mastery of mathematics. Watching learners grow in confidence and competence is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work. Outside teaching, I continue exploring puzzles, problem sets, and new teaching methods to keep lessons fresh and engaging. I also enjoy analyzing how mathematics connects to real-world phenomena, which I bring into class examples to enhance understanding. I approach every session with patience, dedication, and a genuine desire to help students succeed academically and personally, fostering lifelong confidence in mathematics.

My Maths lessons start with a focus on elementary school math, including number operations, place value, fractions, and basic problem-solving. I guide learners patiently, ensuring they build confidence and understanding through visual aids, relatable examples, and interactive exercises. This foundation helps students approach more advanced topics with clarity and ease, while fostering curiosity and positive engagement with the subject.
As students progress, we explore middle school math, introducing expressions, equations, ratios, coordinate grids, and geometry. I provide step-by-step explanations and structured exercises that strengthen reasoning skills, problem-solving habits, and confidence. Learners are encouraged to identify patterns, analyze problems carefully, and apply logical methods. This stage prepares students for more advanced algebra, complex geometry, and standardized testing, including SAT math.
For higher-level learners, lessons cover algebra, advanced geometry, word problems, and exam preparation strategies for SAT math. I focus on breaking down complex questions, using efficient methods, and reinforcing conceptual understanding. Students practice multi-step problem-solving, timed exercises, and pattern recognition. My goal is to help learners gain mastery over mathematics, feel confident in their abilities, and apply skills both academically and in real-world scenarios.
