About Boris
I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Bristol in Mechanical engineering. I have always had a passion for STEM and have attended multiple maths competitions. I also have a passion for chess which I have played for many years. I also am a keen sports enthusiast across multiple sports. I want to ensure learning is directed in the right way ensuring work is not done for the sake of work but instead must be meaningful.

I believe that A-level STEM is best taught through the laying of foundations of knowledge then the immediate application of knowledge through example questions. My classes are an hour in length with the first third being dedicated to ensuring the foundation of knowledge is there and the rest going through example questions and tips on how to spot patterns in questions and how to be adaptive in approach. I am primarily accustomed to teaching at A-level however have some experience at GCSE. As I completed my A-levels only last year I am very familiar with the content.
