About Shivangi
I am an undergraduate student at UofT, studying mathematics and physics. Apart from studying, I enjoy watching movies, exploring my neighborhood, and knitting.
I am also genuinely passionate about teaching and have volunteered often in the past. Currently, I am also tutoring as a part-time hustle.

In my personal experience, it is seldom the case that students aren't putting enough time and effort. Mostly, they are not studying 'smartly' and their mentality around the subject especially Maths adds onto the burden.
My approach is based in not only familiarizing one with the material, but also engage them fully by making them curious about the topics, explaining how it came to be, and most importantly fighting the mindset working against the students

Shivangi is a well respected and delightful part of our community at the University of Toronto Physics department. I’ve had the pleasure of doing my undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto with her and her passion for teaching as well as continuously striving to improve was clear as day. She participated in leading a reading program designed for new undergraduate students where they could explore cutting edge research and related topics. What stood out to me the most was her utmost patience and willingness to teach someone the concepts over and over again through enlightening examples.
