Graduated with a 2|1 from the University of Sussex in Maths with Economics and currently studying for a MSc in Sports Analytics (predicted distinction).
I spent 2 years tutoring maths ranging from 11+ to A level. l learnt that different people have different learning styles, and it is important to adjust teaching methods accordingly.
I also have 2+ years experience as a Business Analyst at technology company Atos. This furthered my skills at delivering challenging technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

My maths lessons will teach fundamental theory, where knowledge areas may be lacking.
This will aim to build up confidence in areas of weakness, as well as reinforce topics of strength.
I will encourage the children that is it okay to get things wrong and there is no such thing as a stupid question. I would rather they get a question wrong where we can go through it together than not to say anything at all! Everyone has struggled with Maths
