About Max
I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and have spent 9 years tutoring students across diverse levels. My teaching philosophy centers on clarity, patience, and building a strong conceptual foundation, helping learners gain confidence in problem-solving and critical thinking.
I focus on making lessons interactive and relatable. I use real-life examples, visual aids, and step-by-step explanations to ensure students understand both the “how” and the “why” behind each concept. I adapt my approach to each student’s pace, encouraging curiosity, exploration, and independent reasoning.

Mathematics becomes engaging when students understand not only how to solve problems, but why solutions work. In my lessons, I focus on algebra, geometry, arithmetic, and problem-solving strategies, breaking down complex ideas into simple, understandable steps. Each session combines explanations, guided exercises, and visual examples to help learners build confidence and logical reasoning. I encourage students to ask questions, explore multiple methods, and develop curiosity about how mathematical concepts connect with real-world situations.
I structure lessons according to each student’s level. Beginners focus on arithmetic operations, basic equations, and visualizing geometric shapes. Intermediate learners explore algebraic expressions, coordinate geometry, and applied problem-solving strategies. Advanced learners study functions, calculus fundamentals, and analytical reasoning challenges. Each lesson integrates discussion, practice, and guided problem-solving to ensure understanding and independent thinking.
My goal is to foster both competence and confidence in mathematics. Learners develop the ability to approach problems logically, understand patterns, and apply concepts beyond the classroom. Each session is designed to be interactive, structured, and motivating, helping students appreciate the value of mathematics while improving their academic skills.
