About Ronit
My professional journey in Mathematics began with a fascination for patterns, logical structures, and problem-solving. This led me to pursue an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, where I gained deep theoretical knowledge and applied experience. Over 12 years of teaching, I have guided students ranging from elementary school math learners to those preparing for SAT math and Calculus exams. My approach emphasizes building conceptual clarity, analytical reasoning, and independent problem-solving skills, allowing students to gain confidence and achieve academic success. I place great importance on understanding each student’s cognitive style and adapting explanations accordingly. I employ stepwise instruction, visualization techniques, and real-world examples to make abstract topics like geometry, algebra, and Calculus accessible and relevant. I encourage active questioning, experimentation, and reflection, creating a supportive environment where learners feel empowered to tackle challenges and learn from mistakes. Beyond classroom teaching, I remain engaged with mathematics through research, problem-solving, and curriculum development. This enables me to bring contemporary techniques and practical applications into lessons. Middle-level students concentrate on algebraic thinking, proportional reasoning, and geometry visualization typical of middle school math. Advanced learners explore algebra, SAT math strategies, and introductory Calculus concepts, emphasizing analytical reasoning, accuracy, and methodical problem-solving.
