About Rehana
My fascination with Mathematics began at an early age, inspired by the way numbers and logical structures seemed to reveal order in the world. This passion eventually led me to complete a B.Sc in Pure Mathematics, where I developed strong academic grounding in analysis, algebra, and advanced problem-solving. Over the past 11 years of teaching, I have dedicated myself to helping students grow into more confident thinkers by breaking down intimidating ideas into digestible, meaningful explanations. I approach each lesson with patience and enthusiasm because I believe every student can become strong in Mathematics with the right guidance. I value creating a supportive, calm atmosphere in which students feel comfortable asking questions without fear of judgment. Many learners come to me feeling unsure, frustrated, or overwhelmed, and I take pride in helping them transform those feelings into clarity and confidence. I use examples from real life, multiple representations of concepts, and flexible teaching styles that adapt to each individual. Watching a student suddenly understand a topic they once feared is one of the most fulfilling experiences in my work. Outside the classroom, I enjoy solving mathematical puzzles, reading about educational psychology, and exploring new ways to make complex topics accessible. I also engage in continuous professional development to keep my teaching methods fresh and effective.
