About Annabelle
I have 9 years of experience teaching Mathematics to students across school and university levels, helping them build confidence and strong conceptual understanding. I hold an M.Sc in Industrial Mathematics, which has allowed me to explore advanced mathematical ideas while also learning how to explain them in clear and approachable ways. I believe mathematics is a subject that empowers learners to think logically, solve problems creatively, and apply structured reasoning across many disciplines.
My teaching style blends patience with intellectual depth. I enjoy guiding students through polynomial equations, algebraic structures, and the connections between abstract mathematics and applications in computer science or theoretical physics. I also introduce learners to interdisciplinary perspectives, helping them see how mathematics supports modern technology, modeling, and scientific discovery. My goal is always to help students understand ideas deeply rather than rely on rote memorization.
Teaching mathematics is deeply fulfilling because I witness students unlock intellectual strength they may not realize they possess. I want every learner to feel well-rounded, confident, and capable at the intersection of theory and meaningful application. Mathematics becomes far more meaningful when students learn to see it as a way of thinking rather than a set of rules to memorize. In my lessons, I help learners develop strong understanding in algebra, geometry, calculus concepts, and structured problem solving. Each topic is introduced with clarity, patience, and real-world relevance so students feel connected to what they are learning. I encourage exploration, questioning, and steady practice in an environment where students feel supported rather than pressured.
