About Arjun
My passion for Mathematics began with a fascination for logic, patterns, and problem-solving. This led me to pursue an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, acquiring strong theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Over 10 years of teaching, I have guided students from elementary school math to SAT math and introductory Calculus, helping them achieve conceptual clarity, analytical reasoning, and academic confidence. My approach emphasizes making abstract topics understandable, stimulating curiosity, and fostering independent problem-solving. I focus on adapting lessons to each student’s learning style, using visual aids, step-by-step guidance, real-world examples, and practice exercises. I encourage active questioning, experimentation, and iterative learning, creating a supportive and motivating environment. Outside teaching, I remain actively involved in mathematics through problem-solving, research, and curriculum development. Teaching mathematics is deeply fulfilling because I witness students evolve from uncertainty to mastery, developing analytical reasoning, resilience, and independence that extend beyond academics.

Mathematics becomes comprehensible when students understand concepts rather than memorizing formulas. My lessons cover elementary school math, middle school math, geometry, algebra, SAT math, and Calculus, focusing on structured problem-solving, analytical reasoning, and conceptual clarity. I teach learners to identify patterns, apply systematic approaches, and solve problems with confidence. Lessons include step-by-step explanations, interactive exercises, and reflective discussion to promote independent thinking and mastery of concepts.
Lesson content is adapted to the learner’s level. Elementary students strengthen arithmetic, number sense, and foundational reasoning. Middle-level learners focus on algebra, geometry, and proportional reasoning typical of middle school math. Advanced learners explore algebra, SAT math strategies, and introductory Calculus, emphasizing accuracy, methodical problem-solving, and analytical reasoning. Practice problems, guided exercises, and feedback ensure understanding and long-term retention.
Mathematics lessons also cultivate patience, focus, and logical discipline. As learners gain confidence, they apply reasoning skills across subjects and real-life scenarios.
