About Colin
I’m a Mathematics student at the University of Queensland with a particular interest in probability, statistics and mathematical reasoning. I enjoy breaking difficult ideas into smaller pieces and explaining not just how a method works, but why it works.
I know university math can become frustrating when lectures move quickly or when a small gap in understanding makes everything that follows feel harder. I want my lessons to be a relaxed place where you can ask basic questions, work through problems carefully, and build genuine confidence in the material.
I mainly work with university students and adult learners studying calculus, probability, statistics, algebra and related mathematics subjects.

My lessons focus on understanding the ideas behind the formulas, not just memorising procedures. I usually start by identifying exactly where the confusion begins, explain the concept from first principles, then work through examples before having you solve similar problems independently.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are adapted to your current course, assignments, or exam preparation. I am a Mathematics student at the University of Queensland with a strong interest in probability, statistics and mathematical reasoning.
I mainly tutor university students and adult learners in calculus, probability, statistics, algebra and related first-year mathematics topics. Lessons are online and can be adjusted to your pace and goals.
