About Freya
I am a mathematics tutor with 6 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics. My interest in mathematics began with a fascination for numbers, patterns, and logical reasoning. Over time, this interest developed into a passion for teaching and helping students understand concepts clearly. I have worked with learners at different academic levels and helped them improve their skills and confidence. My goal is to make mathematics simple, clear, and engaging for every student.
My teaching style focuses on clarity, patience, and structured explanation. I break down complex problems into smaller steps so students can understand them easily. I use simple examples and practical methods to make learning effective and interesting. I also encourage students to think independently and solve problems confidently. Creating a supportive learning environment is very important to me. Students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I provide regular feedback and guidance to help them improve consistently.
I continue updating my teaching methods and exploring new ways to make learning effective. Teaching mathematics is very rewarding because I see students grow in confidence and ability. I enjoy helping learners overcome challenges and develop strong problem-solving skills. My goal is to support students in achieving academic success and confidence. By the end, students feel motivated, prepared, and capable of understanding mathematics deeply while continuing to strengthen their logical thinking and independence for future learning.

My mathematics lessons are designed to help students understand concepts clearly and solve problems with confidence. Advanced students focus on solving complex problems, exam preparation, and time management strategies. I provide clear explanations and detailed feedback in every session. Students are encouraged to explain their reasoning, which improves clarity and understanding. Regular revision sessions help strengthen retention and ensure concepts are deeply understood.
