About Aria
I developed a passion for teaching mathematics by observing how many learners struggle due to gaps in structured guidance and conceptual understanding. This motivated me to earn an M.Sc in Mathematics Education, where I focused on curriculum design, problem-solving strategies, and cognitive learning approaches. Over 12 years, I have taught students across levels in elementary school maths, middle school maths, algebra, geometry, and SAT maths, helping them build confidence and analytical thinking skills. I teach with empathy, clarity, and patience, using visual aids, interactive problem-solving, real-life applications, and stepwise explanations to make maths approachable. Students who initially feel anxious gradually gain competence and confidence, learning to tackle challenges methodically. Seeing this transformation is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work. Outside teaching, I engage with puzzles, advanced problem-solving techniques, and research on innovative maths education methods. This allows me to keep lessons relevant, engaging, and effective, helping learners develop long-lasting skills and confidence in mathematics.

Mathematics becomes manageable when students understand connections between concepts rather than treating problems as isolated tasks. In my lessons, I guide learners through elementary school maths, middle school maths, geometry, algebra, and SAT maths, using structured, patient, and interactive explanations. I focus on conceptual clarity, reasoning, and consistent practice, helping students approach challenging topics with confidence and logical problem-solving skills. Lessons are adapted to the student’s level. Beginners practice number sense, arithmetic, early algebra, pattern recognition, and basic geometry. Intermediate learners tackle multi-step problems, proportionality, algebraic reasoning, geometric relationships, and data interpretation. Advanced learners focus on SAT maths problem-solving strategies, efficiency, time management, and complex reasoning. Each session blends explanation, guided exercises, and critical thinking challenges to build understanding and skill mastery. Maths lessons also cultivate analytical thinking, independence, and perseverance. As students progress in geometry, algebra, and SAT maths, they gain confidence not only in academics but also in their problem-solving ability across other subjects. My goal is to help learners feel empowered and capable, fostering both competence and a positive attitude towards mathematics.
