About Lavanya
I love learning anything and everything. One of the biggest joys of my life comes from reading and learning about new things. And I feel equally excited about sharing my knowledge. I love teaching because it lets me share the wonders of knowledge and curiosity with others. Even more than that, I strongly believe that students today, deserve an ever-evolving teacher who has adaptive methods and who can devote personalized attention to all.

My first and foremost approach is to understand what works best for the student. Since learning is different for everyone, the same type of teaching methods don't work for all.
Next, I begin by explaining the concepts one by one, at ground level. Once the student is clear about the concepts, we can proceed to examples and practice together.
When I'm confident that the student has grasped the basics well, I let them practise on their own, and work out an approach that works best for them.
Lastly, to ensure that the lessons are locked in, I ask the students to explain the lesson back to me. This unique approach gives me a fair idea of how much information they have retained. Tried and tested approach!
