About Harry
Hi my name is Harry and I have a passion for maths that I developed having studied under some incredibly enthusiastic maths teachers at Landau Forte College, Derby. I know there are many people who find maths a bit challenging and so I would like to share my skills by providing tutoring services to such people or simply coach those who need a little bit of extra help.
I have a Masters degree in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham as well as A Levels in Mathematics and Further Mathematics (both A* grade).
I first performed tutoring while studying A Levels at school, through the ERNIE (Everybody Recognises Numeracy In Education) scheme. This gave me the opportunity to provide one to one tutoring of a younger pupil. The scheme lasted the full academic year and on completion the pupil had grown more confident and was able to undertake various maths tasks on their own.
I represented my school on multiple occasions at various maths quizzes and competed in challenges including events at Loughborough University and the University of Birmingham.
I have helped many students with their maths work in my school form group; in particular I was asked to closely support one student who was finding maths difficult and met them every week that year. I also helped several students with exam preparation for GCSE maths and the director of maths at my school assigned less abled students to me for one to one tutoring during the scheduled maths lessons.

I am very patient, calm and friendly and will not give up on whoever I tutor. My objective it to help people to find maths as exciting and interesting as I find it and help them overcome difficulties that people commonly experience with maths.
