About Seema
My interest in mathematics was sparked by a love for patterns, logic, and problem-solving from an early age. I earned a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, gaining expertise in algebra, geometry, and applied problem-solving strategies. Over 8 years, I have taught students across all levels, from elementary school math to middle school math, advanced algebra, geometry, and SAT math, fostering confidence, analytical thinking, and conceptual mastery. I aim to create a supportive, engaging environment that motivates learners to explore mathematics deeply and systematically. I adapt lessons to each student’s abilities and learning style. Beginners strengthen foundational arithmetic and number sense through visual aids, guided examples, and hands-on exercises. Intermediate learners develop multi-step reasoning, problem-solving strategies, and applied algebraic and geometric skills. Advanced learners tackle SAT-style questions, complex geometric reasoning, and higher-level algebra, building independence, logical reasoning, and resilience. I emphasize curiosity, critical thinking, and perseverance in every lesson. Outside the classroom, I explore new problem-solving approaches, real-world mathematical applications, and exam techniques to enhance lesson quality. Witnessing students develop mastery, confidence, and a genuine appreciation for mathematics is deeply rewarding and motivates my continued dedication to teaching. My aim is to equip learners with skills and a mindset to approach mathematics with curiosity, creativity, and lifelong confidence.
