About Christy
I am a dedicated math educator and a proud mom of three. Being a mother has strengthened my patience, understanding, and ability to support learners with different needs. With an MBA and associate degrees in Science and Arts, I bring a strong academic foundation to my teaching. I believe every student can succeed in math when concepts are explained clearly and practiced consistently. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, build confidence, and develop the skills to solve problems independently.

My teaching philosophy is that deep conceptual understanding is the foundation of mathematics. I believe students should understand why formulas and methods work rather than simply memorize them. My approach combines clear explanations, step-by-step examples, and consistent practice to develop strong problem-solving skills.
A typical lesson begins with reviewing previous concepts, introducing new material, working through examples together, and practicing problems independently. I identify areas of difficulty and adjust my teaching methods to each student's needs and learning pace.
With an MBA and associate degrees in Science and Arts, I bring a well-rounded academic background and a structured approach to learning. My goal is to help students build confidence, think critically, and develop a solid mathematical foundation that enables them to solve unfamiliar problems independently.
My lessons are suitable for students who want to strengthen their math fundamentals, improve academic performance, prepare for exams, and develop lasting problem-solving skills.
