About Liam
Graduating from the University of Chicago with a degree in Mathematics/Computer Science, I pursued a career in the software development industry working on various projects most notably for IBM in Boca Raton and Austin Texas. In 1999 I decided to enroll as a graduate student in pure mathematics at F.A.U. and was offered a teaching assistant position with a stipend which enabled me to teach classes to pay for my degree. Eventually I received my masters degree by writing a thesis in combinatorics and algebra entitled "Tiling the Integers with Triples Using Signed Permutation Matrices". After graduating I have worked for various colleges teaching such classes as: Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Business Calculus, Advanced Topics in Mathematics, Technical Calculus, Statistics, and Discrete Mathematics. My experience also includes teaching more advanced classes: Differential Equations, Vector Calculus, Linear Algebra, Python Programming, and C/C++Programming.

The students I have taught range from middle school and high school students, at companies such as Sylvan Learning Center, to college and university students at University of Florida, Florida Atlantic University, Keiser University, St. Petersburg College, and Hillsborough Community College. I am knowledgeable in many areas of mathematics but also able to explain things clearly to students of any level or ability.
