About Lara
I hold a Master’s Degree in Mathematical Modelling and have 7 years of teaching experience. My interest in mathematics grew from a love of solving puzzles and understanding patterns. Teaching gives me the opportunity to share that enthusiasm with learners of different backgrounds.
My approach combines structure, patience, and adaptability. I enjoy helping students work through difficulties and develop confidence in their abilities. Every lesson is designed to make learning both productive and encouraging.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring mathematical applications in science, technology, and research. These interests help keep my lessons engaging and relevant. Helping students achieve their goals and strengthen their confidence remains a major source of motivation for me.

My maths lessons are designed to help students build strong understanding and confidence in solving problems. We study algebra, geometry, statistics, calculus, and mathematical reasoning through structured explanations and guided practice. I focus on helping learners understand concepts deeply rather than relying on memorisation.
Lessons are adapted to match each student's abilities and goals. Beginners strengthen core skills, while advanced learners develop analytical thinking and advanced problem-solving strategies. Regular exercises and constructive feedback support continuous improvement.
I believe mathematics becomes more enjoyable when students see patterns and logic within problems. My lessons encourage persistence, curiosity, and confidence in a supportive environment. The goal is to help students approach mathematics with a positive mindset and strong skills.
