As a math tutor, I prioritize understanding over memorization through personalized, active learning. My approach includes:

1. Assessing the student's current level and goals.
2. Fostering conceptual understanding through real-life examples and visual aids.
3. Engaging students in problem-solving and discussions.
4. Providing scaffolded learning with incremental difficulty.
5. Offering constructive feedback and encouraging reflection.

A typical lesson plan involves reviewing previous material, introducing new concepts, guided and independent practice, and summarizing key points. My emphasis on personalized instruction and problem-solving sets me apart. Lessons cater to students of all levels, from elementary to college, and are adaptable to specific needs and goals.
