About Eilis
Hi, I'm Eilis. I just completed my final year in college studying Mathematical Science. I've always enjoyed math and know from experience that sometimes all it takes is someone explaining a topic in a different way for it to finally click.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, going to the gym, and spending time with friends and family. I like to keep lessons relaxed and friendly, and I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as that's often how the best learning happens :)

I am a Mathematical Science student offering maths grinds for Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students. My goal is to make maths as approachable and stress-free as possible while helping students build confidence in their abilities.
I understand that everyone learns differently, so I like to adapt lessons to each student and explain concepts in a way that makes sense to them. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions even if they think they're simple ones.
Lessons would typically last one hour and can focus on homework, exam preparation, or topics that students find challenging. I also understand how frustrating it can be to get stuck on a question while studying, so I am happy for students to reach out between lessons and I will do my best to help whenever I can.
