About Poojita
Hi! My name is Poojita. I just enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania, and will likely be majoring in Psychology. I am a private tutor and have one year of experience tutoring students in grades K-12 in English and mathematics at Eye Level Learning Center. In addition, I have years of experience voluntarily tutoring within my high school through various honor societies. This summer, I will be tutoring students at Mathus Academy to gain more experience in the teaching field.
I am particularly passionate about math, writing, and English (I absolutely loved AP Lang!).

Qualifications:
SAT: 1560 (perfect 800/800 on the math section and a 760/800 on the reading/writing sections)
SAT Math 2 subject test: 800/800
Math general qualifications: 5 on AP Calculus BC exam, took Georgia Tech Linear Algebra and Georgia Tech Multivariable Calculus, took a Differential Equations course as a senior in high school
AP Lang: did not take the actual AP exam because my college does not offer credit, but I received a 5 on all 10+ practice exams that I took throughout the school year

I like to make my lessons engaging by personally connecting with students. For the SAT and other standardized exams, I like to focus on key strategies for test-taking. I also have plenty of test prep material and resources. For general subject tutoring, I like to break down each section of a subject area and provide simplified goals at the beginning of each lesson so that students can track their progress.
