About John-Daniel

I have been working as a tutor for over 10 years now. I have already taught all subjects except physics in upper school. I studied political science (social sciences and history), previously spent a few semesters in natural sciences (math / biology / chemistry), completed a year / semester in the USA, England and Latin America (English / Spanish) and actually did math with each of my students in over ten years of tutoring so that I know the math curriculum really very well. So technically nothing can disturb us. After many years of work in a well-known tutoring institute, I am looking forward to implementing my own concept, which has been tried and tested in many tutoring lessons. Every student is individual, everyone learns something different, has different gaps or goals. I really enjoy working with students of all ages, from the fifth grade onwards. I have a lot of experience with ESA / MAS / ABI exams even at a higher level. So get on there! I look forward to you all!

Lockdown frustration and abistress? Conflicts with parents and repeated bad feedback and negative experiences at school? Or lost the overview in the eLearning from the chaos teacher, discovered gaps, or the bad grade puts pressure on? Calm down. It doesn't have to be like that. School should be an enriching experience, leave time for development, also outside of school, in your free time and in the family. Unfortunately, the school does not always meet this requirement, mostly because it fails to teach students how to learn the right things effectively and to keep track of the forest of copied worksheets. And that's where I come in. My goal is to relax the entire school area, and everything that is attached to it, and to make sure that it just "runs" without much effort. It is sometimes a long way to get there, but it is always possible. School doesn't have to be difficult if you understand the principle. There are no guarantees of success, but every student who went along has achieved an improvement. Here I see myself as a coach and reference person with whom my students work on an equal footing and as a team, working together towards this goal. We pull together and achieve it. This is mostly about work structure, self-confidence and motivation. And a lot about how you actually develop something yourself. Arousing (scientific) curiosity is also one of the goals, because it makes everything much easier. In all of this, of course, knowledge must not be neglected, sometimes you just have to be shown how a curve discussion works, or how conditional sentences type II work. That too has to be part of the concept. Overall, I am happy to support my students holistically and to get them to surprise themselves and to rekindle their curiosity.
