About Nena
Hi! I’m Nena, a curious and analytical person who thrives on solving problems and making complex topics easy to understand. Originally from the Netherlands, I recently moved to Brisbane, bringing with me a strong academic background from Delft University of Technology, where I earned a Master’s in Engineering & Policy Analysis. In my previous role as a manager at an engineering consultancy, I led a team focused on digital solutions and data analysis. Throughout my career, I’ve always found fulfillment in helping others understand complex ideas—whether it was explaining data models to my colleagues or helping a family member untangle a mess of Excel formulas that seemed to have a life of their own! I truly believe that everyone can grasp difficult subjects when they are given the right tools and support. This passion for helping others understand led me to tutoring, where I can share my knowledge and inspire others to unlock their full potential.

Hi! I’m Nena, an analytical thinker with a passion for breaking down complex topics into simple, understandable concepts. With a background from Delft University of Technology and a Master’s in Engineering & Policy Analysis, I have a strong foundation in math, physics, and data analysis. Over the past years, I worked as a manager at an engineering consultancy, leading a team focused on digital solutions and data-driven decision-making. This experience has strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas clearly and effectively.
Are you struggling with algebra, statistics, physics, or logical reasoning? I’m here to help! My teaching philosophy goes beyond memorizing formulas—I focus on building a deep understanding of the why behind the concepts. I use real-world examples, interactive problem-solving techniques, and clear explanations to make learning engaging and effective. Whether you need step-by-step guidance or just a fresh perspective, I tailor each session to your specific needs and learning style.
As someone who has both studied and worked in data-driven fields, I understand how important critical thinking and problem-solving skills are—not just for exams, but for real-life applications. My goal is to help you build confidence, improve your grades, and develop a solid understanding of the subject matter.
Whether you’re a high school student preparing for exams, a university student struggling with complex formulas, or someone looking to sharpen your analytical skills, I’m here to support you.
Let’s tackle those challenges together! Reach out today, and let’s make STEM work for you.
