Mathematics grows exponentially in difficulty every consecutive year in high school. This makes it imperative that students stay on top of their studies to ensure the desired outcome at the end of year 12.
I provide students with the best way to learn maths using a range of teaching and mentoring techniques that I have discovered over my 4 years of experience tutoring.
I provide detailed and intuitive notes on every chapter that is covered in the math methods syllabus. This will build the foundation of knowledge required to start tackling practice problems and is what I base my teaching on.
I also provide practice tests and exams (with worked solutions) from schools all over Perth including Scotch College, Churchlands, and St Mary's. These papers offer a way to apply knowledge and give students a good guideline to the types of questions that will appear in their own tests and exams. Students will learn how to correctly structure answers to maximise the number of marks.
I have 1000 hours of tutoring experience with over 20 students and have been very successful with them. One of my recent students made it in the Joondalup Times for being "the top-performing student cross-campus".

An ordinary tutoring session can be split into 3 steps
Theory (20%): This is where we thoroughly go through the content in a chapter. I will provide printed notes for each lesson.
Practice Problems (70%): We will complete a range of problems from a textbook or practice papers (which I provide) to apply our understanding of the theory. I will show how I would complete particular problems and set answers out so good habits are made to collect maximum marks in tests/exams.
Summarise and Plan next lesson (10%): We will revise the main notes of the theory and recite the harder problems. The next lesson will be planned here.

To justify my rate, I have over 1000 hours of tutoring experience. I also provide typed notes on every chapter for my students as well as practice exam papers with prepared solutions. This takes a lot of behind the scenes preparation. I also am in contact off hours for students to ask questions as they please
