About Maryam
I am a university student who has been teaching Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics up to A-Level for the past year, particularly in the last three months before lockdown. I sat my A-Levels in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and French two years ago and so I am familiar with the syllabus.

My teaching method depends on the student. If I feel that the student only needs help within specific areas of a topic/subject but understand the basics overall, I will ask them before the next session what they would like to go through next so I may prepare. For other students who may need more guidance and need to cover the basics in many different areas, I would prepare lesson plans covering different topics on the syllabus. I usually go through theory in the first part of the lesson, and then the student(s) and I would go through questions together afterwards. If they feel comfortable doing them on their own, I would leave them to complete the tasks and we go through them together afterwards.
