About Janie
I fell in love with teaching my first year at university where I received my bachelor’s in TESOL along with a minor in Applied Linguistics. After graduating, I went on and received my Master’s in TESOL. Then I started my career teaching Adults English in Chicago for 6 years where I taught a variety of courses such as speaking and listening to career readiness classes to help students interview for jobs. Then, my husband and I moved to Charlotte, NC where I taught ESL in elementary and charter schools.
