About Casey
I received my BFA from New York University in 2019. After graduating, I became a nanny where I worked with a range of skill levels and found a passion for helping with homework, and began private tutoring for elementary, middle, and high school students. I take a fun and patient approach to teaching and coaching, while exploring the balance of personalization and self-expression in writing. I work with students to ensure that their writing is clear, concise, and purposeful. Test prep guidance can include executive functioning tactics, organization, and outlining, as well as meditative and cognitive behavioral tips for test anxiety. As an actor currently studying at the University of Southern California for my MFA, I am able to bring a sense of play and fun into learning. Additionally, being trained in improv often helps when preparing students for public speaking opportunities, auditions, and interviews.

As an artist and all-around people person, I thrive in assisting high school students prepare for their collegiate chapter, as well as any elementary to high school English writing and reading course.
