About Paula
I am a Master's student at the University of Oxford specialising in Development Studies. I have a background in social science, from political science to critical geography to, more recently, anthropology. I have a track record of high grades for exams, essays and research projects, and am happy to share my skills and experience with those who struggle! I have a deep passion for the field I am in and hope to be able to share it with students. Regarding languages, I know the struggle of learning them and getting used to writing confidently in academic settings - so I am glad to support you on your journey!

My teaching is generally oriented towards your needs - I seek to support you in your personal and academic journey! Whether this means getting feedback on your writing, discussing difficult topics and theories, or wrapping your head around a new concept, we will set up a plan together. A lesson will usually last 45 to 75 minutes, as needed! I have worked as a tutor at high school level before, and am now getting back into it to support university students in their learning. Regarding language training, I grew up in Germany but have since then studied completely in English. I look forward to supporting you in learning or perfecting either language.
