About Julien
My name is Julien. I’m originally from France, where I completed a Bachelor's degree in International Relations, and I’ve recently moved to Sydney to continue my studies with a Master's in the same field. I’ve always been passionate about languages, culture, and global issues. Growing up in France and then studying abroad has shown me just how valuable language is. It is not just as a tool for communication, but as a way to build understanding between people from different backgrounds. That’s one of the reasons I love teaching French: it allows me to share part of my culture while helping others grow in confidence and skill.

If you'd like to learn French, I offer one-to-one tuition from beginners to more advanced levels. I believe that to learn a language, it's more than important to gain confidence by talking as much as possible, which is why I emphasize dialogue in my lessons. Each lesson is of course personalized to your level and language needs. I’ve previously taught French at university, helping newcomers to France prepare for the professional world. I also have experience teaching English to learners of all ages through a community organization in Vietnam, which has shaped my flexible and supportive teaching style.
