About Darcy
I hold a Master’s degree in Music Performance and have been teaching singing for over six years. My students range from complete beginners to experienced vocalists, and I adapt my lessons to meet their specific goals, whether personal or professional. I have successfully prepared students for auditions, competitions, live shows, and recording sessions. My approach blends technical precision with creative exploration, ensuring that every singer grows in both skill and confidence while developing their own unique vocal identity. Beyond teaching, I actively perform across multiple genres, from classical to contemporary, keeping my skills sharp and my methods up to date. This allows my students to benefit from both real-world performance experience and proven instructional strategies.

We begin with core vocal techniques, focusing on breathing control, posture, and tone clarity. You will learn exercises designed to strengthen your diaphragm, increase stamina, and improve the quality of your sound while keeping your voice healthy for long-term singing.
The next stage develops range, pitch accuracy, and vocal agility. Using scales, interval training, and customized drills, you’ll gain better command over transitions, dynamics, and resonance. This will help you perform challenging pieces with both precision and emotional depth.
Finally, we integrate artistry and performance skills, including stage presence, emotional interpretation, and audience engagement. By working on repertoire suited to your voice, you will transform technique into captivating performances that leave a lasting impression on listeners.
