Lessons with me are meant to be engaging and build confidence in my students as they learn skills that will assist them in being successful both in and beyond the classroom. My focus is on building reading through methods learned with The Science of Reading as well as the 17 years of experience of working with children in elementary and middle school.
In addition to being elementary certified, I am also ESL and Special Education Certified. I employ SIOP strategies that allow my students to utilize nontraditional methods to gain necessary skills. I scaffold lessons for all of my students, but put those tools in place especially for my L's and SPED students.
