About Angus
Before transitioning into tech and education, I actually spent time working out at sea as a sailor and offshore radio officer. Living and working across diverse waters gave me two things that shape how I teach today: calm patience in unpredictable situations, and a genuine fascination with how people from different backgrounds communicate.
Learning a language is a lot like setting sail into unfamiliar waters — it can feel daunting at first with tones and characters, but having the right guide makes it an adventure rather than a chore.
Having learned other languages myself(日本語 ,Bahasa Melayu and English), I know the exact hesitation that comes with speaking in front of others. That’s why my class is completely relaxed, judgment-free, and interactive. We can chat about anything from daily life and modern pop culture ,literature to maritime stories, travel, or practical business expressions.
