About Arnav
Hello! I'm Arnav, and I'm passionate about helping students succeed in Biology and Chemistry.
I recently completed my MSc in Applied Biosciences at Imperial College London with Distinction, where I specialized in areas like antimicrobial resistance, proteomics, and synthetic biology. I also hold a BSc in Biotechnology with strong foundations in chemistry and zoology.
What I love about tutoring is breaking down complex scientific concepts into clear, understandable parts. Whether you're struggling with GCSE Biology, preparing for A-level Chemistry, or working on university applications, I focus on building genuine understanding rather than just memorizing facts.
My teaching approach is friendly and patient but thorough. I remember what it was like to find certain topics challenging, so I work at your pace and use examples that make sense to you. I've recently been through the competitive university application process myself (I've just been accepted for a PhD at Cambridge!), so I can also provide guidance on personal statements, interview preparation, and study strategies.
