About Amrit
As an active Research Software Engineer with over five years of industry experience and an MSc in Cloud Computing, I bring the rigour of the professional tech industry directly into our tutoring sessions. Because I regularly deliver university-level guest lectures and practicals, I understand the academic hurdles you face and know exactly how to break down complex computer science theories into clear, actionable steps. You are not just getting a tutor; you are partnering with a certified, practising professional who builds, deploys, and scales resilient software systems every day. My commitment is to provide a structured, highly supportive, and focused learning environment where we can confidently transform your academic challenges into genuine engineering expertise.

My approach is rooted in bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world software engineering. Instead of just memorising syntax or reading from textbooks, we build, break, and debug systems together. I use a hands-on, project-based methodology where we translate abstract concepts—like data structures, distributed systems, or machine learning pipelines—into functional code. If we are learning Python, web development, or Cloud architecture, we do it by writing actual scripts, setting up CI/CD pipelines, and applying industry-standard Agile and Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices. You will learn not just how to pass a test, but how to write code like a working professional.
Lessons typically run for 60 to 90 minutes. This timeframe hits the sweet spot for computer science tutoring: it provides enough time to break down theoretical concepts
Alongside my corporate background building high-performance microservices and Edge AI deployments, I regularly deliver guest lectures and run practical sessions for university students. I hold certifications in Python (PCEP) and Microsoft Azure AI, and I am an active open-source contributor (including Google Summer of Code 2025). This means the guidance I provide is always up-to-date with current industry standards.
Target Audience
My classes are tailored for university students (undergraduate and postgraduate) and early-career developers (typically ages 18+).
University Students: If you are struggling with complex computer science practicals, data structures, or dissertation projects, I can help you translate academic requirements into working code.
Junior Developers & Upskillers: If you are a boot-camp graduate or self-taught programmer looking to master backend development, Cloud Computing (AWS/GCP), or MLOps, I adapt the curriculum to match your technical baseline and career goals.
