About Gary
HI. I've been teaching English in British secondary schools for the past five years. I gained a distinction at Masters level in Twentieth century Literature in English and can teach all aspects of the GCSE and A' Level syllabus.
I've also taught conversational English in South Korea, so if you're looking for a native speaker to help perfect your English I am happy to oblige.

I tutor according to the needs of the student. So, if your strengths are in textual analysis but you struggle with structure then we will focus on that area. I prefer to work closely to the various syllabuses of the exam boards, and when exam time arrives I feel it is especially helpful to look closely at the examiner's reports from previous years.
Working one-to-one with a student, I set a single piece of written each week which is to be returned and discussed the following session. In addition, I will provide additional resources for the main body of the lesson, which the student can take notes from and discuss.
