About Ava
As a passionate educator and accomplished chemist with a Master's degree in Chemistry and over four years of teaching experience, my journey in academia has been driven by a deep-seated enthusiasm for chemistry and a commitment to fostering learning among students of all levels. My expertise lies in biochemistry and organic chemistry, where I have dedicated myself to unraveling the complexities of molecular interactions and chemical processes.

In my chemistry lessons, I aim to create a dynamic and engaging learning experience that enables students at all levels to grasp the intricacies of biochemistry and organic chemistry. These subjects are foundational in understanding the molecular processes that underpin life and play crucial roles in fields ranging from medicine to environmental science.
We begin with biochemistry, exploring the chemical processes within living organisms. Topics include biomolecules such as proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, and nucleic acids, as well as biochemical pathways like metabolism and enzymatic reactions. Through interactive discussions and laboratory simulations, students gain a comprehensive understanding of how these molecules function and interact within biological systems.
Moving to organic chemistry, we delve into the structure, properties, and reactions of organic compounds. Topics cover organic molecules, functional groups, stereochemistry, and reaction mechanisms. Practical examples and problem-solving exercises help students apply theoretical concepts to predict chemical behavior and synthesize compounds of biological and industrial significance.
Throughout the lessons, I emphasize critical thinking and experimental skills, encouraging students to analyze data, draw conclusions, and communicate their findings effectively.
