About Andrew
As a Master's in Chemistry, I believe that everyone has the ability to learn and to succeed. As someone who successfully taught over 70 undergraduate students in one semester both chemistry coursework and laboratory techniques, I learned that if you can clearly yet flexibly communicate concepts, then there is no subject that students cannot understand. Under my teaching, I will make it my top priority to make sure that you not only excel in your coursework, but that you can intuitively understand the concepts that were taught.

During my Master's studies, I've had the experience of teaching over 70 students chemistry-based laboratory techniques, while reinforcing the concepts that they learned in class. This experience helped me hone a teaching style that led all of my students to succeed in their classes. When I am with a student, I will first identify their learning style and then adapt my teaching so that they can learn the concepts while appealing to their strengths. From my experience, I believe that there is no concept that cannot be taught - all that matters is the ability of a mentor to know their material and be flexible yet effective with their communication.
I am well versed in STEM based coursework at both the high school and college level. But my specialties are in chemistry and biology. I can also do college preparation for students who need some guidance on how to draft a personal statement that puts their best foot forward while accurately reflecting their strengths.
