About Alek
As a vocal coach with over 8 years of experience, I have worked with students of all skill levels, from those just starting out to seasoned professionals looking to fine-tune their vocal technique. My approach combines vocal technique, music theory, and performance skills, ensuring that each student receives a well-rounded education in singing. For beginners, I focus on developing foundational skills such as breath control, pitch, and basic vocal exercises. As students advance, I work with them on refining their tone, developing vibrato, and expanding their vocal range. I also teach ear training and sight-singing to enhance their overall musicianship. One of the key elements of my teaching is performance coaching. I believe that a singer’s emotional connection with the music is just as important as their technical abilities. I guide students in developing stage presence, learning how to connect with an audience, and interpreting songs with depth and authenticity. I work with a range of genres, including pop, jazz, classical, and musical theater, ensuring that students are versatile and well-rounded in their vocal abilities. My ultimate goal is to help students develop their unique sound, build their confidence, and enjoy the art of singing.

I am a passionate and experienced vocal instructor with 8 years of teaching under my belt. My approach to singing lessons is all about personalization. I believe that no two voices are the same, and every student has unique strengths and challenges that need to be addressed. In my lessons, I focus on building a strong technical foundation through breathing exercises, vocal warm-ups, and proper vocal placement. For beginners, I focus on fundamental techniques such as pitch accuracy, breath support, and vocal control. For more advanced students, I work on developing a wider vocal range, control over dynamics, and expressiveness. I incorporate a range of genres into my lessons, from contemporary pop and R&B to classical and musical theater, ensuring that students develop versatility in their vocal style. Alongside technical training, I also emphasize the importance of vocal health and offer tips on how to care for the voice to ensure longevity. Performance skills are also a key component of my teaching. I work with students on stage presence, emotional expression, and storytelling through song, helping them build confidence and connect with their audience. My ultimate goal is to help students discover their true vocal potential, build confidence, and feel empowered through their voice.
