About Briar
I am a dedicated vocal coach with a strong academic background in music and over 7 years of hands-on teaching and performance experience. My journey began with formal training, where I developed a deep understanding of vocal techniques, music theory, and performance dynamics. This foundation, combined with real-world stage exposure, has shaped my approach to teaching in a way that is both disciplined and creatively flexible. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students—from children discovering their voices to adults preparing for professional auditions. I take pride in crafting personalized lesson plans that meet each student at their level, helping them grow with confidence and skill. My approach emphasizes not just technical ability, but also expression, interpretation, and stage presence. Beyond the classroom, I stay actively involved in the music community by performing, attending workshops, and continuously learning new methods to enhance vocal training. This keeps my teaching fresh, relevant, and adaptable to different musical styles and trends. I believe that every voice is unique and deserves to be heard.
