About Tova
My teaching approach is gentle, patient, and deeply supportive, especially for students returning to the violin after a long break. I understand how challenging it can be to rebuild tone, technique, and confidence after time away. That’s why I begin with careful review and simple open string warm-ups to reconnect you with the instrument in a relaxed way. We take slow scale meditations to focus on intonation and tone quality, allowing your fingers and ears to rediscover the music naturally. I emphasize mental readiness alongside physical practice, helping you overcome self-doubt and performance anxiety step by step. Restoring your confidence is just as important as perfecting your technique. I create a safe space where mistakes are part of learning, and progress is celebrated, no matter how small. Together, we renew your motivation and reconnect with the joy of playing. Whether you aim to perform in worship settings or pursue pop styles, I tailor lessons to your personal goals and pace.

I’m a passionate violin tutor with 3 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Strings, specializing in violin. My teaching style is dynamic and blends the traditional Suzuki method with modern improvisation techniques. I believe this combination helps students build a solid technical foundation while also encouraging creativity and personal expression.
In my lessons, I focus on developing strong intonation, confident bowing, and rhythmical accuracy. These fundamentals are key to mastering the violin and enjoying the learning journey. But beyond technique, I’m dedicated to helping each student discover their own unique musical voice.
I tailor my approach to fit every learner’s needs and goals. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I provide a supportive environment where you can grow. My aim is to make lessons engaging and fun, sparking a lifelong love for music.
