About Kieran

I am a London-based session bass player and music instructor, with a degree in Popular Music Performance from BIMM London. With over 10 years of playing experience, I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of artists across various genres, performing in venues such as the O2 Academy Islington, Shepherd’s Bush Empire, and the O2 Academy Glasgow. My career has taken me on tours across the UK and Europe, where I’ve performed at renowned festivals including Victorious Festival, 2000 Trees Festival, Isle of Wight Festival, Belladrum Festival, BST Hyde Park, and The Great Escape Festival. As an experienced session musician, I have recorded at world-class studios like Abbey Road and Lightship Studios, working on a variety of projects that have helped shape my diverse musical background. In addition to my performing career, I have had the honour of teaching at BIMM London, where I’ve taught students of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced musicians. Based in South West London, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with aspiring musicians. Whether you're just starting your musical journey or looking to refine your skills, I offer personalised lessons that cater to your unique needs and goals

Kieran is a great tutor and has really helped me develop my sills. He is able to adapt and breakdown complicated concepts, and techniques into manageable parts that can be built upon. He is very professional, supportive, and patient and I would definitely recommend him.

I have tried a few bass tutors, but wasn’t getting what I needed out of the lessons to truly improve my technique, until I met Kieran! He’s been so patient and really knows his stuff, flexible to what I’ve needed specifically but also taught me a wide range of styles which has definitely helped me in the long run. Would recommend to anyone! Thank you :)
