About Joaquim

I was inspired by a high school philosophy teacher to pursue a career in teaching. After a class on Plato and the concept of philosophy, I was captivated by the possibilities that knowledge can offer us, from social to personal and intimate transformations. Since that class in my first year of high school, I have made knowledge an incessant pursuit in my life. To be a teacher is also to be a student, and I use this enthusiasm as my inspiration to collectively build knowledge and expand the transformative potential that knowledge has to improve the world. We cannot change the world alone, but we change the world of people, and together we can transform and improve the reality around us. Thus, whether discussing a topic, preparing for a test or exam, or conducting research, we can broaden our worldview and transform our trajectory; count on me on this journey!

I believe that no one learns in the same way. I try to adapt my work to the specific demands and needs of each student. Therefore, my methodology is based on the objectives and preferences of each student, aiming to improve the efficiency of the class. Mind maps, activities, videos, flipped classroom, use of various media – there are many possibilities, and you can choose what you prefer. From help with schoolwork and assessments to academic papers and research, the most important thing is to find what works best for you.
