About Floriane
I am a Master's student in Biomedical Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal, completing a dual degree with the French engineering school IMT Mines Alès, where I ranked first in my class during my first year. I previously spent two years studying physics in South Korea. This academic journey has taught me academic rigor and great adaptability, particularly through my international experiences which allowed me to discover diverse teaching methods. I am patient, an active listener, and I always adapt to each student's pace so that science becomes clearer, and why not, a lot more exciting!

My Method : I adapt to the level and pace of each student. Generally, sessions are structured as follows: - Review of the material covered in class - Guided, step-by-step problem solving - Methodology tips and strategies for better understanding - A quick recap at the end of the lesson to consolidate concepts and set goals for the next session.
I use an iPad to write live, just like on an interactive whiteboard, which I share via Zoom or Teams for a seamless experience during online lessons.
My Approach : Patient, attentive, and rigorous, I strive to create a supportive and reassuring environment to help my students progress, build self-confidence, and become more independent learners. My engineering background (having studied in France, internationally, and currently as a Master's student at Polytechnique Montréal) gives me a deep understanding of the subjects and a diverse, enriching perspective on teaching.
Who is this for ? High school students, CEGEP students, University students at the Bachelor's level (undergraduate), any student looking to fill knowledge gaps, get a better grasp of the material, prepare for exams, or simply build confidence in science.
