About Matilda
Hello! My name is Matilda, and I hold a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences. I work as an Environmental Practitioner, where I apply geographical and environmental knowledge to real-world challenges. This practical experience allows me to bring classroom concepts to life and help students understand how Geography is used beyond textbooks.
I am passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, whether they need support with coursework, assignments, exam preparation, or understanding challenging topics. I believe in creating a patient, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I explain concepts clearly, use practical examples, maps, diagrams, and past exam questions where appropriate, and encourage critical thinking rather than memorization. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop a genuine understanding and appreciation of Geography.
Whether you're a high school learner preparing for exams or a university student looking for extra support, I am committed to helping you succeed. I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your academic journey.

I am a passionate and patient Geography tutor with a strong academic background, including a master's degree in Geography. My goal is to help students understand concepts rather than simply memorize facts, enabling them to develop critical thinking and confidence in the subject.
My teaching approach is student-centered and tailored to each learner's individual needs, strengths, and goals. I use clear explanations, real-world examples, maps, diagrams, and past examination questions to make lessons engaging and practical. Whether a student needs help with difficult topics, assignment support, exam preparation, or improving study techniques, I adapt each lesson to suit their pace and learning style.
I am proficient in English and conduct all lessons in English.
A typical lesson begins by identifying the student's learning objectives and reviewing any areas of difficulty. We then work through concepts together using interactive discussions and practical examples, followed by guided practice and feedback to reinforce understanding. I also provide study tips and strategies to help students become more independent learners.
My lessons are suitable for high school learners (Grades 10–12), university students studying Geography or related subjects, and adult learners who want to strengthen their geographical knowledge. Whether you are aiming to improve your grades, prepare for examinations, or deepen your understanding of Geography, I am committed to helping you achieve your academic goals in a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
