About Elyse
I am a 28 year old female living in London studying at the Royal College of Art. I have previously worked as a Secondary School Art and Textile Teacher, educating students from 11-18 (KS3, GCSE and A-Level). During my MA I have worked part time as a supply teaching in Primary schools across London delivering Maths and English to KS1 and KS2 children. I have an up to date DBS and Qualified Teacher Status.
I am super friendly and always smiling! Originally from Manchester, I gave up full time teaching to explore my own education via post-graduate study. I was awarded an First Class Honors for my under-graduate degree in 2013, where I studied Embroidery at Manchester School of Art. I later qualified in 2015 with a PGCE in Secondary education. After working in full time education for 4 years, I relocated to London to study an MA in Textiles: Mixed Media.
